Wayne State University is ranked 49th in the 2002-03 Division II NACDA Directors' Cup Final Fall Standings released December 26, 2002.
The Warriors have 63 points after the women's cross country team placed ninth at the NCAA Championship.
The sports included in the fall standings are men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
The next standings will be released on March 27th.
The Directors' Cup for NCAA Division II institutions is presented annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) to the best overall collegiate athletics programs in the country.
14 sports (seven men's and seven women's) are considered in Division II.
NACDA, now in its 38th year, serves as the professional and educational association for more than 6,100 collegiate athletics directors, associates, assistants and conference administrators at more than 1,600 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
