DETROIT - The Wayne State Department of Athletics hosted the Fall 2007 First Year Letterwinners Reception on Monday evening in the WSU Athletics Hall of Fame Exhibit at the Matthaei Center.
Hall of Famer and former Tartar football standout Joe Gough, as well as athletic director Rob Fournier, addressed the 45 student-athletes who were receiving their first varsity letter at Wayne State. Head coaches Rick Cummins, Ernie Gilbert, and Paul Winters were also on hand to present the varsity jackets to their respective team members.
