Angie Hunter joined the Wayne State University sports medicine staff as an athletic training intern in January 2008.

The native of Saranac is completing her bachelor's degree at Central Michigan.

A former softball letterwinner for the Chippewas, she served as a student athletic trainer with men's basketball, and the men's and women's track and field teams at CMU.

A member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Hunter has also worked with the athletic teams at Northwood University.
