Josh Priehs begins his second year as an assistant athletic trainer at Wayne State University. A former intern at WSU during the 2006-07 season, he returned following a year at Eastern Michigan where he worked as a graduate assistant.

Priehs graduated from Central Michigan University, where he studied athletic training and earned his health science degree with a minor in Exercise Science. He also began his graduate studies at EMU before coming back to Wayne State.

He previously worked in the Troy school district sports camps as well as St. Joe's Hospital.

Priehs, who was born in Lincoln Park, currently resides in Sterling Heights and is single.
