TOLEDO, Ohio - Wayne State's four-game winning streak came to an end as the Warriors (11-22) gave up a season-high 22 hits in an 18-8 loss at the University of Toledo's Scott Park in a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon. WSU had seven errors and allowed three separate three-run homers to the Rockets.

The Warriors took a first-inning lead as senior Adwin Springer's (Toronto, Ont.) RBI-single scored two before UT (15-12) tied the game in the bottom of the inning.

For the second game in a row, Kurt Kieleszewski (Macomb, Mich.) hit a home run, this one a two-run shot to center field in WSU's second inning, but the Rockets hit a pair of three-run homers in the bottom of the second to take an 8-4 lead.

Toledo scored six more runs before Wayne State had a two-run fifth inning. Jon Weisman (Woodhaven, Mich.) singled to start the inning and scored on an Adam Schulz (Southgate, Mich.) RBI. Then Springer, who singled earlier in the inning, scored on a wild pitch.
