FINDLAY, Ohio - For the third straight game Wayne State and Findlay were separated by just one run; and for the second day in a row WSU lost on a wild pitch as the Oilers (23-16, 12-6 GLIAC) came away with a 4-3 win in the final contest of the weekend series, taking three of four against the Warriors (14-25, 12-8 GLIAC).

Senior Jason Chapieski (Windsor, Ont.) doubled to center to begin the game and stretch his hitting streak to 12 games. Chapieski scored on Jon Weisman's (Woodhaven, Mich.) sac fly to left field. The Warriors took a 2-0 lead when Adwin Springer (Toronto, Ont.) drew a bases-load walk, scoring Derek Ranck (Clarkston, Mich.).

After a three-run Findlay third inning, Wayne State tied the game in the fourth as Kyle Miller (Farmington Hills, Mich.) bunted in Matt Cunningham (Gregory, Mich.).

The Oilers scored the winning run in the sixth off of freshman Dane Little (Windsor, Ont.) (1-3) who came in at the beginning of the inning for starter Ryan Mosher (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
