Wayne State outfielder Tony Hines (Detroit, Mich./Mumford) has been named GLIAC Player of the Week for his performances in last week's series at Toledo and against Findlay.

Hines batted a team-high .533, including three multiple-hit games, in Wayne State's four contests last week, extending his hitting streak to 10 games. He went 3-for-8 with four RBI and two runs scored in the Warriors' doubleheader at Toledo.

Hines tallied three hits, including two home runs, along with four RBI and two runs in WSU's 11-3 win over Findlay in the first game on Friday. Hines went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a 4-1 victory in the second game.

He currently ranks 10th in the GLIAC with a .412 batting average.
