Wayne State University senior Kris Krzyminski (Flint, Mich./Central) has been voted to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District men's basketball First Team.

Krzyminski, a business management major, has been named to the Wayne State Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.5+) twice and the Coach's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.0-3.49) his other semester at WSU.

Krzyminski, who leads the GLIAC in scoring and is ninth nationally, is the lone Division II player on the District IV First Team. He is the only GLIAC player on either the First or Second Team in District IV. Gannon's Aurimas Truskauskas was a First Team District II selection.

With his first team selection, Krzyminski is now eligible for Academic All-America honors.

The District IV Academic team was selected by members of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) located in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. College Division includes all Division II, Division III and NAIA institutions.
