The NCAA released its national stats yesterday including games through Feb. 18.
Wayne State moved up to eighth in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 41.9. After making six of nine attempts in last Thursday's win over Ferris State, WSU connected on 12 of 22 from beyond the arc in Saturday's win versus Saginaw Valley.
Individually, senior guard Kris Krzyminski (Flint, Mich./Central) is second in three-point field goal percentage (50.9), seventh in scoring (24.1 points per game), 30th in three-point field goals made per game (3.4), 39th in free throw percentage (84.6) and 92nd in field goal percentage (53.0).
The Warriors play their final regular-season game this Saturday, Feb. 24 at Hillsdale (3 p.m.).
Wayne State has qualified for the 2007 GLIAC tournament and will play a quarterfinal contest on Tuesday, Feb. 27. If WSU wins at Hillsdale, the quarterfinal game will start at 7 p.m. at the Matthaei.
