Wayne State University senior guard Kris Krzyminski (Flint, Mich./Central) has been named to the 2006-07 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's basketball All-Academic team.
Krzyminski, a business management major, was selected to the Division II Bulletin Honorable Mention All-American team after earning First Team All-GLIAC honors after leading the conference in scoring and finishing seventh nationally.
He was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.5+) for Fall 2005 and Winter 2006, and to the Coach's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.0-3.49) for Fall 2006.
To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student-athlete must have: a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
