Wayne State University senior guard Kris Krzyminski (Flint, Mich./Central) has been selected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week.

Krzyminski scored a game-high 38 points on 12 of 17 shooting from the floor including seven of eight from beyond the arc in Saturday's four-point triumph over Hillsdale.

He also made seven of eight from the foul line, while contributing four assists and three rebounds in the win over #27-Hillsdale. He had 21 of WSU's 33 first half points on 6 of 7 (4-4 3-pt fg) and five of five at the foul line as the rest of the team only made 5 of 17 in the first half.

With WSU trailing 69-67 with two minutes remaining, Krzyminski made a jumper to tie the game at 69. Following a HC turnover, he was fouled and made both free throws for the winning margin.

Wayne State is tied-for-second in the GLIAC South Division and will host the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 20-21 at the Matthaei. The Warriors play Southern Indiana on Wednesday and Indianapolis on Thursday. Ferris State battles the same two teams on opposite days in the early game (5:30 p.m.).
