DETROIT - The Wayne State University men's fencing team claimed two of the three individual titles at the 2006 Istvan Danosi/Michigan Open hosted by WSU on Sunday at the Matthaei.
Senior Bobby Smith (Hillsborough, N.J.) and freshman Slava Zingerman (Israel) won their fourth and first Michigan Open titles while Detroit Mercy's Craig Budzynski won for the second straight year.
