Landon Fox concluded his third season at Wayne State in November 2007. He was appointed linebackers coach in June 2005 and added the responsibilities of special teams coordinator for the 2007 campaign.

In 2007, Alan Guy earned Second Team All-GLIAC accolades as well as being named to the AFCA Good Works Team and the National Football Foundation's Division II Michigan Scholar-Athlete.

The previous year, two of his players (Guy and Tristan Black) earned honorable mention All-GLIAC accolades, while four (Alan Guy, Adam Nuckols, Antonio Mansour and Terrence Mansour) of his student-athletes received Academic All-GLIAC honors.

Fox spent the 2004 campaign as a graduate assistant coach assisting with the secondary at Ball State University.

A four-year member (1995-98) of the Defiance College football squad, Fox led the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) in fumble recoveries while earning second team all-league accolades in 1998. He also played one season of basketball for the Yellow Jackets.

A 2000 graduate of Defiance College, he began his coaching career as an assistant varsity coach at Preble Shawnee High School in Camden, Ohio, during the 2000 campaign.

The following year, he served as a defensive line graduate assistant coach at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. He also planned and supervised weight training programs for the football, men's basketball and soccer teams.

Fox spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Dayton working with the defensive line. The Flyers compiled a 20-3 record in that time.

The native of Defiance, Ohio, is married to the former Rhonda Newbert, and the couple has a daughter, Riley Marie.
