Jeff Reardon joined the Wayne State football staff in March 2008 and served as an assistant defensive backs coach in 2008 after serving as a student assistant coach at Hope in the fall of 2007.

A 2007 graduate of Hope College, he was named to the 2006-07 MIAA Academic Honor Roll and also lettered in football in 2005 and 2006.

The Stanwood native graduated from Sturgis High School in 2003.
