Head Coach Paul Winters' remarks on Wayne State loss to Michigan Tech:
"Michigan Tech did a good job. They are well coached and a good football team. We played poorly, we played tentatively and we were very disappointing all the way around."
"I just have to make sure that everyone understands that this is one game. We are going to achieve great things this year and I don't have any doubt about that. Right now, we just have to go back to the drawing board and work on some things."
"I look at this football team compared to last year's team and we are a better football team. Today, we just didn't make the plays that we made last year."
