Wayne State University freshman running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) and junior place-kicker David Chudzinski (Belleville, Mich.) were both named to the D2Football.com All-American Second Team announced today.

This is Bell's fourth All-America honor for the season, and the third for Chudzinski. Bell was an AFCA All-America selection and a Second Team Daktronics, Inc. All-American. Chudzinski was a First Team Daktronics, Inc. All-American. Both players were named AP Little All-Americans.

Wayne State recorded six league victories, equaling a school record while finishing tied-for-fourth in the GLIAC. Two of WSU's four league losses were to NCAA playoff teams (national champion Grand Valley and Northwood). Another loss was to Ferris State, who finished seventh in the Northwest Region narrowly missing an NCAA playoff berth.

The Warriors open the 2007 campaign at home on Sept. 1 against Michigan Tech.
