Four Wayne State University football players were named to the Hansen's Football Gazette All-Northwest Region team announced today.
Freshman running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) and junior place-kicker David Chudzinski (Belleville, Mich.) each received First Team accolades, while senior cornerback Derrion Fuqua (Detroit, Mich./Henry Ford/Grand Rapids C.C.) was named to the Second Team Defense. Offensive guard Ryan Cue (Davie, Fla/Pace) was selected to the Offense Third Team.
Bell, Chudzinski and Fuqua advance to the national ballot from which the 2006 Hansen Football Gazette All-American Team will be selected.
