Former Wayne State University football players Leo Wells and Lee Butler played this past year in the United Indoor Football league with the Peoria RoughRiders.
Wells saw action in three games late in the season and recorded 11 tackles (eight solo and three assist) including four for loss. He also recovered two fumbles.
Butler also saw action in three contests recording six receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown, which came at Sioux City in the season finale on July 8.
