Wayne State head football coach Paul Winters has announced the five captains for the 2007 campaign.

Fifth-year senior tight end John Rehberg (Livonia, Mich./Livonia Stevenson), senior center Frank Lietke (Walled Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Central) and redshirt junior running back Daryl Graham (Detroit, Mich./St. Martin de Porres) will be the offensive captains, while senior linebacker Alan Guy (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester Adams) and junior cornerback Dante Dunn (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) will be the defensive captains.

Guy is the lone returning captain as the four other captains from 2006 graduated.

WSU begins the 2007 season at home this Saturday (Sept. 1) against the Michigan Tech Huskies in the conference opener for both squads. MTU dropped a 47-44 overtime decision at Winona State on August 25.
