Wayne State University junior running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) has been selected to the D2Football.com Pre-Season All-America First Team.

Bell is just one of three non-seniors on the offense first team.

In his first two seasons in the Green and Gold, Bell has rushed for 3,492 yards and 47 touchdowns. He is averaging 194.8 all-purpose yards per game (for 22 games) and 165.1 yards of total offense per game (he has passed for 141 yards and two touchdowns in six passing attempts).

Wayne State begins its 2008 season at home this Saturday versus Mercyhurst.
