The NCAA has released its weekly football statistics including games this past Saturday.

Wayne State is ranked 10th nationally in punt return average (17.33) and sacks per game (4.33), 11th in kickoff return average (27.69) and 13th in rushing offense (249.3 yards per game). Complete NCAA statistical rankings.

Sophomore Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) is eighth in rushing yards per game (156.3), and third in both scoring (16.0 points per game) and all-purpose yards per game (210.0). He is also ninth in total rushing yards (469).

Other Warriors ranked highly nationally are:

Daryl Graham (Detroit, Mich./St. Martin de Porres) - 43rd in rushing (92.0 yards per game)

Dante Dunn (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) - 22nd in kickoff return average (28.3) and interceptions per game (0.7)

Steve Wisniewski (Madison Hts., Mich./Lamphere) - 22nd in tackles per game (10.7)

Tristan Black (Toronto, Ont./Vanier Prep) - 41st in solo tackles per game (5.3)

James Cook (Farmington Hills, Mich./Harrison) - eighth in sacks per game (1.3) and 28th in tackles for loss per game (1.8)

Stan Thornton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Withrow) - ninth in passes defended (pass break-ups plus interceptions) per game (2.0)
