Wayne State University sophomore running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) was selected GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Warriors to a 34-28 road victory at Indianapolis.

Bell rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns while also throwing a 68-yard touchdown pass to Travis Campbell to account for all five WSU scores.

Bell finished the contest with 219 yards of total offense and 163 all-purpose yards (rushing and 12 yards receiving).

This is the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.

Wayne State plays host to Northwood University this Saturday at Adams Field with kickoff slated for noon. Fans should arrive early to hear the Spirit of '76 who will be performing both a pre-game and halftime concert.
