Four Wayne State University football players appear in this week's national stats released by the NCAA.
Redshirt freshman running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) is second nationally in all-purpose yards per game at 217.5, while ranking third in the country in rushing yards per game at 185.5 yards per game and scoring at 12.8 points per game.
Junior place-kicker David Chudzinski (Belleville, Mich.) is 14th in field goals made per game (1.1).
On the defensive side of the ball, senior cornerback Derrion Fuqua (Detroit, Mich./Henry Ford) is 14th in solo tackles (5.4) per game.
Sophomore Dante Dunn (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) is 21st in the country in kickoff return average at 26.6. Dunn had four kickoff returns for 159 yards last week against Indianapolis including an 86-yard return for a touchdown.
In team statistics, Wayne State is 15th in rushing offense (198.0 yards per game) and 16th in kickoff return average (23.18).
The Warriors play this Saturday at Northwood before returning to Adams Field for the home finale on November 4th against Ashland.
