Four Wayne State University football players appear in this week's national stats released by the NCAA.

Redshirt freshman running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) is second nationally in all-purpose yards per game at 215.4, while ranking third in the country in rushing yards per game at 184.8 yards per game and fourth in scoring at 12.7 points per game. Bell accumulated 199 all-purpose yards last week at Northwood with 179 rushing and 20 on a second quarter touchdown reception. He also scored a rushing touchdown for a 12-point contest.

Junior place-kicker David Chudzinski (Belleville, Mich.) is seventh in field goals made per game (1.2). Chudzinski made two of three field goal attempts ending his streak at eight consecutive field goals made. For the season he is 11-of-13 including eight-of-nine from inside 40 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, senior cornerback Derrion Fuqua (Detroit, Mich./Henry Ford) is 19th in solo tackles (5.1) per game. Fuqua leads the squad with 46 solo tackles and is third on the team with 61 total tackles. He also has a team-high nine pass break-ups.

Sophomore Dante Dunn (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) is 20th in the country in kickoff return average at 26.9. Dunn had three kickoff returns for 85 yards last week at Northwood. On the year, he has 16 kickoff returns for 431 yards and the only kickoff return for a touchdown in the GLIAC this year.

In team statistics, Wayne State is 16th in rushing offense (197.9 yards per game) and 10th in kickoff return average (23.68).

The Warriors play their home finale this Saturday against Ashland before concluding the 2006 campaign on November 11th at Ferris State.
