Three Wayne State University football players appear in this week's NCAA national rankings.

Junior wide receiver Nick Body (Ortonville, Mich./Our Lady of the Lakes) is the nation's ninth leading receiver in terms of receptions per game (6.7). Body is 46th in receiving yards per game (81.2).

Junior Chris Middlebrooks (Romulus, Mich.) is 47th in rushing yards per game at 97.7 after gaining 177 yards in last Saturday's win over Gannon.

Senior defensive end Leo Wells (Detroit, Mich./Hamtramck) is 25th in tackles for loss per game (1.6) and 27th in sacks per game (0.8).

Wayne State concludes its 2005 schedule this Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff at Hillsdale.
