Wayne State University freshman running back Joique Bell (Benton Harbor, Mich.) was named to the 2006 AFCA Division II Coaches' All-America Team announced today by the American Football Coaches Association.

Bell is the first WSU player named to the squad since the AFCA began selecting All-America teams in 1945.

He was one of two running backs named to the squad, along with Chadron State's Danny Woodhead. The AFCA honors 25 individuals per division (11 on offense, 11 on defense, a punter, a place-kicker and an all-purpose player).
