PERRY PARK, Ky. - The Wayne State men's golf team finished in sixth place at the Great Lakes Spring Regional, hosted by Northern Kentucky at Perry Park Golf Club.

The Warriors were tied-for-15th through Saturday, posting a team score of 303, but bounced back on Sunday to shoot 290.

Brett Hudson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Orchard Lake St. Mary's) was the top finishing golfer for Wayne State, as he shot a 145 (74-71) to tie-for-ninth. Ryan Johnson (New Boston, Mich./Huron) was just a stroke behind in a tie-for-11th (73-73--146).

Joe Wilson (Trenton, Mich.) tied-for-37th with a score of 150 (79-71), as his one-under par second round score matched Hudson for Wayne State's lowest of the weekend.

Also participating for the Warriors were Joe Juszczyk (Dearborn Heights, Mich./Divine Child), who tied-for-62nd (78-75--153), and Lance Chamberlain (Allen Park, Mich.), who tied-for-75th (78-77--155).

Wayne State will play in the Tiffin Invitational this weekend, April 6-7, at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fremont, Ohio.
