Alton, Ill. - The Wayne State University men's golf is in first place (out of 19 schools) after the first day of the third Great Lakes Regional for the 2006-07 season being held at the Lockhaven Country Club in Alton, Ill.

A trio of Warriors -- Brett Hudson, Ryan Johnson and Joe Wilson -- are tied for fifth with a one-under par 71. Joe Juszczyk is tied-for-21st at 73, while Lance Chamberlain is tied-for-83rd after carding an 82.
