JOPLIN, Mo. - The Wayne State men's golf team remained in seventh place (300-299--599) after the second round of the NCAA Super Regionals at Twin Hills Country Club.
Ferris State held on to its first-place standing (290-284--574), while Indianapolis jumped from sixth to second (299-286--585).
Grand Valley State is in third (291-296--587), followed by Saginaw Valley State (293-296--589), Bellarmine (300-294--594), and Findlay (295-299--594). Northern Kentucky (295-306--601) rounded out the field in eighth.
Joe Wilson (Trenton, Mich.) shot a one-under 71 in the second round to move into a tie for fourth (73-71--144). Ryan Johnson (New Boston, Mich./Huron) took five strokes off his previous round and is tied for 21st (77-72--149) heading into the final round on Wednesday.
Joe Juszczyk (Dearborn Heights, Mich./Divine Child) is tied for 32nd (75-77--152), Brett Hudson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Orchard Lake St. Mary's) is in a tie for 41st (75-79--154), and Lance Chamberlain (Allen Park, Mich.) is in 44th place (79-81--160).
