MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Warrior golf squad, fresh off its win at the Lake Superior Invite, leads Findlay by one stroke, 294-295, through one day of the Northern Michigan Invitational held at Wawonowin Country Club in Marquette Saturday, Sept. 11.
Junior Jacob Abramson (St. Clair, Mich.) is currently in second place after a first-round score of 71, two strokes behind the leader.
Lance Chamberlain (Allen Park, Mich.) also had a strong performance as he is tied-for-fifth with a one-over 73.
Play continues Sunday morning.
