SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. - Joe Juszczyk (Dearborn Heights, Mich./Divine Child) shot a 70 and is the co-leader after the first round of the Great Lakes Regional at HawksHead. Wayne State is currently in a tie with Grand Valley State and Southern Indiana for seventh place.

The Warriors' team score of 300 is just seven strokes off the leader, Bellarmine University (293). Ferris State is a stroke behind (294), followed by Northern Kentucky (296), Saginaw Valley State (297), Indianapolis (298), and Northwood (299).

Ryan Johnson (New Boston, Mich./Huron) shot a 74 and is in a tie-for-20th through round one, and Joe Wilson (Trenton, Mich.) and Brett Hudson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Orchard Lake St. Mary's) are each in 68th place after scoring a 78. Lance Chamberlain (Allen Park, Mich.) posted a score of 79 and is tied-for-81st.

The Regional will continue Monday.
