INDIANAPOLIS - The Wayne State men's golf team has been selected to participate in the 2007 NCAA Division II Super Regionals, which will be held May 7-9 at Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Mo.

It will mark the team's third appearance in the last four years under head coach Mike Horn. The Warriors finished fourth in 2004 and third in 2005. Last season, Joe Wilson went to the regionals as an individual qualifier.

The field is comprised of eighty teams and fifty individuals altogether, with the top team from each region within the super regional and the top individual not with a team from each super regional (regardless of region) advancing to the finals, hosted by Grand Valley State, May 22-25 at The Meadows in Allendale.

Ten additional teams will earn berths to the finals. These teams will be determined based on the previous three-year average of top-10 finishes of a super regional at the finals.
