Four members of the 2005-06 Wayne State men's golf team were named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic team.
To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
Selected to the GLIAC All-Academic team were redshirt senior Kevin Zeleji (Southgate, Mich./Anderson), redshirt junior Cole Muncy (Livonia, Mich./Franklin), junior Lance Chamberlain (Allen Park, Mich.), and redshirt freshman Mike Malandrucco (Warren, Mich./Sterling Heights).
Zeleji was selected for the third time, while Chamberlain and Muncy were honored for the second time. Malandrucco was eligible for the award for the first time this season.
