Former Wayne State University forward Mark Nebus, who completed his collegiate career last Friday, signed as a free agent yesterday with the Muskegon Fury of the United Hockey League.
He did not dress for the Fury's game last night in Port Huron. Muskegon, the UHL leader with 91 points, has three road games this weekend - Friday and Saturday at the Elmira Jackals, and Sunday against the Fort Wayne Komets.
Nebus recorded 18 points on six goals and 12 assists, while playing in all 35 games this year. Four of his six goals came with the man-advantage. For his collegiate career, he had 59 points on 24 goals and 35 assists. He scored 11 power-play goals and one short-handed marker.
