The Detroit Tigers have a home game at 1:05 pm this Sunday so parking around the Gem Theatre will be at a premium. Please allow yourself some extra time to find a place to park. However, the parking garage next to the Gem has agreed to hold a limited number of spots. Please find the directions below:
Directions to the Historic Gem & Century Theatres and Century Grille
We are located in the heart of downtown Detroit at 333 Madison Ave., next to the Detroit Athletic Club, across the street from Music Hall and the 36th District Courthouse, and within walking distance of the Detroit Opera House, Harmonie Park and Comerica Park.
Secure, lighted parking is available in our attached structure at $8 per car.
From I-75 Southbound
Take I-75 South to I-375 South and exit at Madison Avenue (left exit). Follow Madison a few blocks to Brush Street. Turn right on Brush Street. The entrance to the parking garage will be on your left.
From I-75 Northbound
Take I-75 North to I-375 South and exit at Lafayette Boulevard (first exit). Follow the service drive to Lafayette and turn right. Continue on Lafayette until you reach Brush Street. Turn right on Brush. The entrance to the parking garage will be just past Madison Avenue on your left.
From I-94
Take I-94 toward downtown Detroit to the I-75 interchange; head south on I-75. Take I-75 South to I-375 South and exit at Madison Avenue (left exit). Follow Madison a few blocks to Brush Street. Turn right on Brush Street. The entrance to the parking garage will be on your left.
From I-96
Take I-96 to I-75 North. Proceed on I-75 North to I-375 South and exit at Lafayette Boulevard (first exit). Follow the service drive to Lafayette and turn right. Continue on Lafayette until you reach Brush Street. Turn right on Brush Street and follow it to Madison Avenue. The entrance to the parking garage will be on your left.
From M-10 / The Lodge Freeway
Take the Lodge Freeway South to the Bagley exit (left exit). Head east on Bagley and follow it until its termination at Grand Circus Park. Turn right onto the circle and follow it around to Madison Avenue (the Detroit Opera House will be on your right). Turn right on Madison Avenue and follow it a few blocks to Brush Street. Turn left on Brush Street. The entrance to the parking garage will be on your left.
