Wayne State University senior defenseman Marc St. Jean (Orleans, Ont./Hawkesbury Hawks) signed a professional contract with the United Hockey League's Elmira Jackals on April 11. The College Hockey America tournament most valuable player, St. Jean played two second round playoff games last weekend (April 11 and April 13) for Elmira at Fort Wayne.

The Jackals defeated Adirondack, 3-1, in a first round series, and currently trail Fort Wayne, 2-0, in a second round matchup. St. Jean did not record any points in the two games and was even (plus/minus rating).
