Former Warrior Signs With ECHL Team

 
 

 
Jason Bloomingburg has signed with the ECHL's Fresno Falcons.

The Fresno Falcons of the ECHL announced this week the signing of former Wayne State forward Jason Bloomingburg to a contract for the upcoming 2007-08 season.

Bloomingburg enters his first full professional season after appearing in six games with the Alaska Aces at the end of the 2006-07 campaign.

He completed his Wayne State career last season having played in 104 games over three years with the Warriors, finishing fourth all-time with 41 goals and seventh with 71 points. Bloomingburg set a WSU single-season record with 20 goals as a sophomore in 2004-05 after transferring from Providence College.
