Wayne State University freshman forward Jason Baclig (Leamington, Ont./Leamington Flyers) has been selected College Hockey America Offensive Player of the Week after recording four points (two goals, two assists) in the Warriors split at American International.

He had a three-point effort on a goal and two assists in Friday's 5-3 setback and added a goal in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Yellow Jackets. Baclig finished the weekend with a +3 plus/minus rating.

Baclig is leading Wayne State in scoring with 11 points on six goals and five assists.

The Warriors are idle until the 2003 Subway Classic being hosted by the University of North Dakota. WSU opens the tournament with a contest against Brown on Saturday, December 27.
