Wayne State freshman diver Cayce Bolt (Royal Oak, Mich./Warren Mott) was named GLIAC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for his performance at Eastern Michigan on Friday.

Bolt was one of three Warrior divers to qualify for the NCAA Championships this past weekend, but the only one who qualified on both the one-meter and three-meter boards.

His three-meter score of 329.55 was good for third place at the Eastern Michigan dual meet, as was his one-meter score of 295.73.

This season marks the first time WSU will be represented in men's diving at nationals since 2003.

Wayne State will host Ashland on Feb. 2 in its final competition until the GLIAC Championship, hosted by Ashland on Feb. 21-24.
