Heading into the GLIAC Championships this week, the Wayne State men's swimming and diving team was ranked 11th in the country, while the women's team was ranked ninth overall, according to CollegeSwimming.com.
Both teams are the second-highest ranked GLIAC team in their respective polls. Indianapolis is the only conference team ranked higher, seventh in the men's poll and fifth in the women's.
The Warriors will look to claim the GLIAC title as they head to Northern Michigan for the Championships, which begin Wednesday evening.
