Erie, Pa. - The Wayne State University men's tennis team (1-0, 1-0) began its 2003 campaign with a 9-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at Mercyhurst Sunday afternoon. The match was played at The Westwood Racquet Club.

The Warriors will play four matches in three days next weekend in Illinois. WSU faces Lewis and St. Francis (IL) on Friday, Olivet Nazarene on Saturday, and Illinois-Chicago on Sunday.
