Lockport, Ill. - The Wayne State University men's tennis team (2-2) began its spring season with a 9-0 victory over Lewis University Friday afternoon at the Lockport Fitness Forum in Lockport, Ill.
The Warriors raced out to a 3-0 lead after winning all three flights of doubles in the eight-game pro sets. The three WSU tandems lost just four games total.
Wayne State swept the doubles without dropping a set.
The Warriors are scheduled to compete against Olivet Nazarene later today.
