MT. CLEMENS, Mich. - The No. 38-ranked WSU men's tennis team fell to 29th-ranked Ferris State, 7-2, in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Thursday afternoon at Peachtree Tennis Center in Mt. Clemens, Mich. The loss is WSU's first in league play (13-4 overall, 2-1 GLIAC) and keeps FSU undefeated at 2-0 in the GLIAC (8-4 overall).

WSU won one doubles match and one singles match. Matt Akers and Sebastien Foka won the No. 3 doubles, 8-5, over Ian Westerman and Mark Hammelman. In singles action, junior Lech Czerwinski beat Westerman 6-3, 6-3.

Next up for the Warriors is a trip to Rensselaer, Indiana, where they will face Southern Indiana and St. Joseph's on March 29.
