Clinton Twp., Mich. - The Wayne State University men's tennis team lost on Sunday, 7-2, to GLIAC-rival Ferris State at the Peachtree Tennis Center. The Bulldogs were ranked 27th in the country in the latest ITA rankings.

The setback drops WSU to a .500 conference record (2-2) and to a 9-8 overall mark.

The only two wins for the day were both captured by junior Sebastien Foka. Foka went 4-0 for the weekend, including two Saturday wins against Grand Valley.

Foka earned a win in first flight of singles (6-4, 3-6, 7-6) and teamed with Miguel Cobbs for a win at first doubles (8-6).

Foka has increased his overall record for the season to 14-2 in singles and 14-3 in doubles (28-5 overall).

The Warriors have their next conference match against the Northwood Timberwolves on April 7 in Midland, Michigan.
