Midland, Mich. - The Wayne State University men's tennis team (9-9 overall, 2-3 GLIAC) suffered an 8-1 setback Thursday afternoon at 15th-ranked Northwood University (6-5, 3-0 GLIAC).

The Warriors trailed 3-0 after doubles despite a valiant effort at first doubles by Sebastien Foka and Miguel Cobbs, who lost 9-8.

Cobbs recorded WSU's lone singles victory, 6-3, 7-5 at No. 2 over Marius Broek.

Wayne State plays Saturday at Michigan Tech (10 a.m.) and Sunday at Lake Superior (10 a.m.) to conclude the regular season.

The GLIAC tournament will be held at the Midland Tennis Center on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.
