Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. - The Wayne State University men's tennis squad (11-9 overall, 4-3 GLIAC) concluded its regular season schedule with a 7-2 GLIAC victory at Lake Superior (5-7, 1-5 GLIAC) on Sunday.

The Warriors led 2-1 after doubles with wins at No. 1 by Miguel Cobbs and Sebastien Foka (8-5) and at No. 3 by Adam Williams and Mike Frolov (by default).

Foka won at first singles, while Cobbs was victorious at No. 2. Philip Tharakan had a straight set win at No. 4 as did Williams at No. 5. Ryan Buck won by default at No. 6.

Wayne State's next competition is this Friday in the opening round of the GLIAC tournament. Pairings will be decided later in the week as there are conference matches still to be played on Tuesday and Thursday.
