Midland, Mich. - The third-seeded Wayne State University men's tennis team (23-8) lost a 5-1 decision to second-seeded Ferris State in a semifinal match of the 2003 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) tournament being held at the Midland Tennis Center.

WSU will now face fifth-seeded Mercyhurst College in the third-place match on Saturday.
