MIDLAND, Mich. - The Warrior men's tennis team had its 2004-05 season end with a 5-1 loss to Northwood in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional second round on Friday morning at the Gerstacker Courts on the campus of Northwood University. Wayne State finished the year with 14-11 record as the top-seeded Timberwolves improved to 15-5.

No. 4 seed WSU battled NU closely in the top two doubles matches, but lost 8-5 in each along with an 8-2 defeat at No. 3 doubles.

The Warriors' lone win was at No. 5 singles as Mike Frolov was beating NU's Tomas Menec 4-1 before Menec retired. The Timberwolves also earned wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles for the team victory.
