The Wayne State University men's tennis team, under the direction of head coach Rick Cummins, begins its 2004 season this weekend with five matches in three days.

The Warriors were ranked 30th in the nation in the first ITA poll of the year.

Two GLIAC schools placed ahead of WSU: Northwood at 13th and Ferris State at 24th.
