Both the men's and women's tennis teams are ranked in the Great Lakes region

Detroit, Mich. - Both of the Wayne State men's and women's tennis teams are ranked regionally in the latest ITA poll released on April 6. The men are ranked ninth in the Great Lakes region while the women are seventh. Women's tennis senior Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich./Trenton) is ranked 14th in singles.

The men's squad ends the regular season at Mercyhurst on April 14. The NCAA sends four teams to 16 regional sites. The top eight teams in each region qualify with two regional sites per region. The NCAA regionals are set for May 4-5. The 16 winners advance to the NCAA championship in Altamonte Springs, Fla., on May 9-12.
